#37 - WEDDINGS ARE EXPENSIVE!💍🫠 (1/29/24)

Nice photo
Nice photo???

Boa tarde tudo mundo! Como vocês estão? Espero que vocês estejam bem e tiveram uma semana ótima!

Flower tie boys

Hey everyone! How are you? Things have been going very good here in Palmeira, Brazil. Woke up to a bird in our house flying into a window to try and escape. I eventually ended up opening the window for him.

BIRD

In other words, here is the update for this past week:

Monday - Got a fresh new haircut! Not going to lie, the Brazil cut is very nice. If anyone knows how to cut hair in this way, hit me up after the mish!

Photoshoot 1 & 2

Tuesday - Today I woke up with a message from our friend Helena. I met her one day 2 months ago when I was traveling back to Palmeira on a bus. I was feeling very sick that ride and just wanted to sleep but she kept talking to me and the spirit was telling me I needed to talk to her so I sucked up my pain and talked with her and got her address. We then visited her and her family a couple times and invited them to church. They ended up going once and liked it and Helena began to read the BOM on her own. This message we received said that she was going to leave Palmeira for Curitiba.... BUT WOULD CONTINUE TO GO TO THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS IN CURITIBA!! WOOHOO! She thanked us for showing her the Book of Mormon and for showing her the path. Even though I may not see her again, I am glad to know the spirit led me to her and gave me strength to help her along this path. I will miss you Helena! We also went to the Cartorio today to pay for 2 weddings: Maria and her husband, and Beatriz and her husband. To get the physical money, I ran to the bank and had to take out about 1,300 reais! (just over 200 dollars) Let's just say we were there for a while doing paperwork and once I could pay, I PAID cause I didn't want to walk around with that money in my pocket!😆

My boi Alexsander!
Wednesday - Today's weather was really weird! One minute it was raining like crazy and I am freezing, the next I would be sweating and need to take off my coat. Brazil weather is weird! On our way to teach our friend Alexsander, we saw him about 300 feet away from us heading to the gym already and we thought, "welp, maybe later we can catch him". Also found out that Alexsander is learning english rn so we have had some moments to speak english with him. Later during the day we were standing outside a pizza store to visit someone and somebody in the pizza store was shouting like crazy as if he was preaching. When we finally looked to see what was happening, I believe he was doing an instagram live! I should have jumped in so I could have been on tv🤣

We were cold and now we're not

Thursday - We visited our recent convert Eva today and she is awesome! She told us that she sees us as her "sons" and that if we ever need anything, she will supply us with it. She told us how she made a savings account to help with our work and she even offered us 100 reais to buy lunch! I thanked her for the kind words and offer but told her I would rather just have a lunch at her place than take her money. (Eva is elite!) Later in the day, we went into a super market to use the bathroom and while waiting for Elder Salmon, I looked at this shopping cart that had blankets inside it and found out there was a REAL LIFE BABY INSIDE! I don't know whose baby it was but it was there... in a shopping cart... I think it was sleeping. We also got to help a man move a sofa. He was moving down a steep ramp and the sofa fell on the roller and before it fell on the man, Elder Salmon and I rushed over and stopped the sofa from falling. Refined motor skills come in handy! We also met someone who gave us their address to pass by later that day and when we arrived at the Address, it was a different guy named Antonio. We talked with him and he had been pretty distant from any church and was wanting more strength in his life. We showed him the book of mormon and explained how the Holy Ghost can help him and we invited him to be baptized and he accepted! He is now on date for the 18th of February! (He also had a dog that looked like a bear, see photo below)

EVA!

Friday - We had the Zone leaders, Elder Lizana and Barrera, over for a division today! We got to work with Elder Lizana who is pretty much the same age as me! It was awesome to work with him! He really helped me understand the importance of teaching the blessings and covenant we make with God when we are baptized. He has also helped people get married during the mish so he went to the cartorio with us again to make sure it went along smoothly and once again, I ran to the bank, got the money we needed for the wedding, and quickly gave it to the man before anyone could steal it (this time it was about 500 reais). For now we plan on having these weddings this coming Friday. Rosa, Beatriz, and Maria keep telling me that I will be like their Godfather.

Elder Lizana!

Saturday - While cleaning the church I listened to the following talks which I recommend: "The Price of Priesthood Power" and "The Greatest Leaders are The Greatest Followers". I also found out that Elder Zamarron sneezes like my sister Brenna so I will say "bless you" about 6 times when he sneezes😆 While walking around today, we found a recent convert who tried smoking and I said to him "Joel, we dont smoke right?" and he immediately threw the cigarette and said "Smoking is bad, we don't smoke". Glad that missionaries can be representatives to remind people of what Christ would do. We also met this family: Angelina, Sydney (husband), and their son Eduardo. While teaching, their dog, Zeus, tried to jump on Elder Salmon from the other couch but missed and fell off the couch! Zeus is pretty hyper and likes to nibble and knowing my history with dogs... I got bit again! No worries though it is pretty small but that dog is pretty much a ball of energy! The other strange moment was walking to our next appointment and seeing a women skin a chicken outside her house. Never seen that before.

Dog bear?

Sunday - MET PETROS SAMWAYS! He was a former missionary 4 years ago and does he have a desire to serve! He walked up to me during sunday school and said, "I heard your a pretty good missionary. Let's go bring 10 more people to church". So we went and brought 10 more people to church! We went to some of our investigators houses and brought Mayra and her family to church and while trying to bring someone else, we found a lady who was A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH, IVETE! We ended up bring them to church right before sacrament ended (so I ended up taking the sacrament later that day) but we did bring 10 more people to church. Petros is awesome but also a little crazy bc he wanted to walk right into another church and give them a Book of Mormon during their meeting😆 He did give me a lot of tips though! Hope I can work with him again.

Honestly, this last week was a very good work week. We found a lot of new people to teach and bring to church. Truly each day, I am recognizing the hand of God in not only my life but others and seeing how I am being used as a tool to bring the Holy Ghost to others. There is no greater joy than the joy you feel seeing the Holy Ghost work in the lives of others.

5 people in the backseat

I love you all and wish you well! If their is ever anything I can do for ya or anything you'd like to know about Brazil, a mission, or the life of a ginger, let me know!

#36 - The Fruits of our Labors🍎 (1/22/24)

[Mom note: As Elder Fisher nears his 8 mo. mark, it's still funny to watch his grammar change!]
Boa tarde tudo mundo! Tudo bem? Por todas as pessoas lá no Estados Unidos, como está a clima? Ainda vocês têm grãos negativos? Espero que vocês têm chocolate quente! [Good afternoon everyone! All good? For all the people in the United States, how is the weather? Do you still have negative grains? (Mom note: no idea what that means) Hope you guys have hot chocolate!]

New tie! (Thx mom)

Hey everyone! As one week ends, another begins and this week was full of blessings, laughs, and LONG bus rides🤣

Heres the update from the week:

Golden hour smolder

Monday - We traveled to Curitiba today for a new missionary training meeting the next day. We arrived and stayed at the staff house with some other missionaries that were going to the meeting and we decided to play UNO. Thinking we were playing with normal rules I was stunned when people started doing things I didnt understand. It was honestly really funny cause us Americans were like, "WHAT THE?!" And then the brazilians would explain a rule they use. Note to self: when your in a different country, you need to play with the rules of the country🤣 (ill win next time)

Tuesday - TRAINING: Honestly got a lot of insight today from President Bikman. It feels like he always knows how to make us think, "wow, i have so much to learn and do to be a good missionary". Some of my biggest take aways were as missionaries we "Help and invite", NOT CONVINCE. The Holy ghost and Book of mormon do that. We just live in a way to a company the Holy ghost to the hearts of men. I really like this way to think about missionary work along with the verse in Mosiah 28:3 to have this desire to help others. After our meeting Elder Salmon and I had some time to explore Curitiba and make some contacts. We ended up visiting a few stores to buy socks cause Elder Salmons socks already ripped and we ended up meeting a lot of people and sending their information to other missionaries. We then headed home on the bus and it took FOREVER! Traffic was really bad so our bus ride was 3 hours instead of 1 hour 30. We literally got back to Palmeira and had to head back to the house.😆

Walking in the road

Wednesday - Found something funny in PMG (preach my gospel). On page 115 in the portuguese and spanish versions, there is a duplication of the scriptures we use to teach the first lesson. (this just blew my mind during my personal study🤣) Directly after finding this we had a mission devocional about the Book of mormon and really my biggest take aways from our President is not to say "If the Book of mormon is true" or "If the church is true" because we know they are true. the "If" comes from the agency of the other person such as "If YOU know this book is true". Truly the Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion and will always give us answers to the questions of our souls. Another cool moment is when we were inviting our friend Olivir to be baptized and a hummingbird flew right into the house, waited a second, and then left! It was really random but really cool... and also Olivir accepted  to be baptized so we are first going to help him marry first and we will see after that.

PMG duplication

Thursday - ANOTHER MEMBER LUNCH TODAY! We had lunch with some recent converts today and it was delicious! The highlight was when they brought out a parrot for us to hold. And guess what.... I had a parrot on my shoulder! It was awesome! After a while the parrot did bite me but it was still cool. Another funny part today was when I was doing a division with Elder Cardoso and the people we were teaching asked for more rain and so, I prayed for more rain. Literally a minute after I finished the prayer, "BOOM", thunderstorm! Guess I prayed too hard.. my bad.

BIRD (that bit me)

Friday - It has been raining a lot these days and while we were walking around, Elder Salmons umbrella broke! A part of his umbrella dettached and he quickly picked it up before he got too soaked! We also had a very powerful lesson with our friend Alexsander. Alexsander is really searching for the right path and he has told us he is searching for wisdom and has asked us to pray for him always. He watched the Joseph Smith film and had some questions about it so we went into depth about the Restoration, the apostasia, and all these things and slowly but surely, we are helping him to know the truth. Please keep him in your prayers. And now to explain the title, while talking with Rosa (the aunt of our recent convert Laysa) and she told me that Laysa is reading the Book of Mormon every night and reading with Rosa! That honestly really touched me to see the influence we have had on them, the fruit of our labors.

Cool storm pic

Saturday - We had a party today to celebrate Gabi who just started her mission today! She will serve in Reciefe sul as a missionary for The Church just like me. It was really special to hear the testimonies that were shared about the importance of the work we do and the blessings that come. It reminded me of when I started the mission about 8 months ago. Another funny part of the day, we went to go visit Juliana in the plaza to teach her a little and we were talking about the Plan of Salvation (God's plan for us) and we were sitting at this table eating Pastels. When the other elders arrived, Elder Cardoso asked me for the menu thinking that the Plan of Salvation pamphlet I had was the menu!🤣 i asked him which kingdom he wanted to order😂

Teaching italo piano

Sunday - This is the day when I saw the fruit of our labors. Not only were we studying about Lehis dream of the tree of life being the love of God for us, but I had a truly remarkable experience. I had been fasting to help bring people to church but hardly any of the people we were going to visit with the van were going. Feeling a little down, I saw God answer my fast and prayer with "inner peace" (as kung-fu panda says, good movie). First moment was when Rosa explained the peace that came to her house after we started visiting her family and even now while we continue to visit. The second moment was while sitting in the front (since I play piano) I got to see Luiz, our recent convert, pass the sacrament for the first time! I couldn't help but tear up a little to think about how the direction God gave us to these people, is going to make such a big influence for others. Luiz helping others renew covenants each week, and Rosa inviting others to church. I sat there, staring at everyone and could feel the Spirit telling me, "thou hast done a good work, my good and faithful servent". To top it off, we also had the baptism of our friend Vinicius who I had been teaching for over a month and our friend Alexsander, he was there! It was a remarkable day, all thanks to God!

Vinicius baptism

I think there comes a time in every missionaries life when they question if what they are doing is right and are waiting to see the fruits of their labors and sometimes, we don't see these fruits in ways we think but what we need to realize, God knows better than us and he will show us these fruits in his due time. We are to just keep moving forward with faith to acompany the Holy Ghost to the hearts of men.

Pizza table tower

I truly hope all of you are doing well and are finding this inner peace each day by searching for the Holy Ghost in your life. I know God is always trying to help us, and is blessing us in ways we may not think about. Alinge your will with his. Let God prevail!

#35 - Mosiah 2:17... LITERALLY (1/15/24)

Mosiah 2:17 - And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.

Boa tarde tudo mundo? [Good afternoon everyone? Elder Pescador here with another email for everyone. I hope you had a great week and that you are doing well next week. I'm not going to lie, these days in Palmeira are too hot!😆 I'm burning up every day!]

The Fisher and the Salmon
What's up guys! First things first, I have heard that the United States has been very cold these last few days, in the negatives. So for everyone that is there, sorry, I hope your well. If any of you would like to trade climates, let me know and I will see if something can be arranged 🤣

Elder Salmon

But in other words, here is the update from this week:

Monday - Went shopping with Elder Salmon today and we got him a new hat that makes him look like Indiana Jones. It's pretty sick! The only other thing I have written is this song that Elder Salmon showed me on the gospel music app. The song is "Simon of Cyrene" and all I can say is... WOW! I wish I had a voice like that. I highly recommend everyone give it a listen and really think about the meaning of the song when Christ is carrying his cross.  [Link to Song]

ITALO BAPTISM

Tuesday - This is going to sound a little weird but we had a baptism today! Yep, a baptism on Tuesday. Don't worry, we got permission from President Bikman! Italo was baptized today (a nephew of Rosa, slowly but surely we are helping everyone in Rosa's family come back into the embrace of God). The highlight of the baptism is that my son, Elder Salmon, PERFORMED HIS FIRST BAPTISM! (They grow up so fast!🥹) The other highlight is when Italo started to swim in the water because we don't have a baptism font, we have a pool! Later in the day, we got caught in a storm and took shelter with this family, Clayton, Edimara, and Davi. We met them one day and they asked a lot of questions about the church, baptism, life and with all the questions they asked, we basically taught all the lessons in one😅. So we visited them and since we were stuck in the storm they offered us dinner and while eating, Elder Salmon and I noticed hair sticking out of the meat... It was pig hair. Luckly, I think ours stomachs are fine.... for now😆

(another) Moth
Wednesday - GIANT MOTH ON MY STUFF COUNTER: 3! Woke up to do personal study and there was a giant moth on my Book of Mormon! This time I found a way to make it fly towards and out the window. I guess moths like me or something cause this keep happenings. But today is what started my "WEEK OF SERVICE!". We went to visit people with THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND, CRIS! The first member family we visited didn't have enough food so we ran to the grocery store and did some shopping for them. It was weird to not be teaching or contacting people but just shopping. It's been a while since I just went shopping! We ended up buying the basics and delivered it to this family and said a prayer to bless them. It was awesome to then think about the verse in Mosiah 2:17 that even when we may not be doing our usual missionary routine, if we are serving others, we are serving God and fulfilling our purpose! Afterwards we ended up getting pastels with Cris and let me just say, "Choconana" is DELICIOUS!

Pastels with Cris
Thursday - The other Elders had a baptism today for Agatha! It was also her birthday so we used our "interior designing skills" to decorate a little for her special day. The funny thing was Elder Cardoso mades letter to spell "feliz aniversário" and I spelled "aniversário" wrong because of the accent (sorry i still dont speak portuguese😅). Later that day we ended up leaving to Curitiba to visit the Temple the next day. We arrived at the office and Elder Araújo told me he needs to run back to the staff house to open the door for other Elders so he intrusted me and Elder Zamarron to lock up. We followed his directions exactly and when we were outside double checking we did everything right, I realized that through the glass door, my umbrella was still there. (I ended up getting it the next day but it was still funny to feel like we did everything right and then forget my umbrella!) At the staff house, Elder Luedke tried to teach me a special way to beatbox with clapping and all I will say, I have no idea how Brazilians do it!

Agatha baptism

Friday - Went to the temple this morning and I remembered my temple recommend this time! After we were done with our session, we were about to call an uber to leave when President asked me if we could stay with an Elder whose companion went to the hospital. Elder Salmon and I stayed with this Elder until Elder Araújo finished his session in the temple which ended about an hour and a half after ours. While waiting, we found a recent convert who was waiting for other Elders to find him but they were already doing a temple session so I began to talk to him. His name was Lucas and he was baptized just a month ago and it was his first time at the temple! I got to really know him and I was glad that I could offer up my time to make sure he felt welcomed in the temple. SERVICE! We also ended up finding a Sister who served in our same mission just 4 months earlier and is now helping at the CTM. She asked how long Ive been a missionary and I told her 7 months and she complimented me on my portuguese! Since we were waiting at the temple, we didn't have time to explore much of Curitiba before our bus came but it was an awesome experience to be at the temple longer and meet more of Gods beloved children. Later that day we traveled back to Palmeira and spoke with our friend Olivir and his wife Erica. Olivir plays guitar and has been teaching me a little. His wife speaks in "Libris" (idk how to spell but sign language) so I have been learning a little. Gift of Tongues is real in whichever way of communication!

Heading to the temple to be a model?

MTC COMP MORTENSON
Saturday - Woke up this morning to go clean the church and found this old man zooming on his electric chair in the middle of the road. It was awesome! After cleaning the church, we ended up visiting some recent converts with Leonaldo that does Family History. Before we met with Eva, we got lunch at this one restaurant and the tv was on with a tv show that was watching ICARLY! I had a lot of memories flood back to my mind when this happened😆 Ended up talking with the other Elders about kim possible, zach and cody, and other shows we watched. We then went to visit Eva and make a "family tree" with her. While we were visiting her, she shared her conversion story with us of how one day I was passing by with Elder Cardoso and I said "boa tarde" and she responded. I was just about to passby when I heard a voice confirm my thought that I needed to talk to her. We ended up talking with her, inviting her to church, and then later inviting her to be baptized and she was! She was away from any church for a while but through me, God brought her back into his embrace! To all my missionary friends out there, talk to everyone because you never know who will accept our message and who is waiting for you! Later that night we had a cool lesson with Juliana at this park and we found out she speaks English! I ended up having Elder Salmon teach to help him practice and Juliana accepted a Book of Mormon and came to church with us the next day! ELITE!
Tree hug

Sunday - Biggest highlight was having a giant lunch and meeting with the branch presidency in Palmeira! We decided to go visit some people and Elder Salmon and I went to go visit some people with the Presidents wife and Primary Counselor. Ngl, I felt like I was visiting people with my mom because we had two young men with 2 full grown adults. But it was awesome to just visit people and offer up any service we could wheather it was a prayer, a message, or just listening.

I think I realized this week the power and importance of service and ministering. The church has ministering to help its members grow their faith and connect to Christ and his church. Ministering is fundamental and something we as missionaries are doing everyday!

[Mom Note:  We call this the broom toss and it was learned by Devin's mom as a child]

Food pics

Welp sadly, I gotta get going to Curitiba now but I truly hope all of you are doing well and are able to identify a miracle everyday in your life because, trust me, they are happening in ways we may not realize. Love you all (listen to the new youth album especially "over mine")

#34 - "Fishers of Salmon" - The unstoppable duo (1/8/24)

Yeah, i cant move the rock

Boa tarde tudo mundo! E aí beleza? Como vocês estão? Como está o ano novo? Vocês viram bastante fogos (Fireworks) porque Brazil tinha bastante! [Good afternoon everyone! Hey, what's up? How are you? How's the new year? You saw a lot of fireworks because Brazil had a lot!]

Elders of the Branch

What's up guys!? How are you all? It's still really weird to think that it is 2024 already but what's cool to think is that I will be able to say I spent an entire year in Brazil this year! WOO! But, in other words, as the title suggests, here are the adventures of a "Fisher" and his "Salmon".

[Mom note: They sure love pizza in Brazil!]

Monday - We got invited to have lunch with Rosa (one of our investigators and part member families). They had their extended family over so we had the opportunity to teach some more of her family about The Church of Jesus Christ and gave them A Book of Mormon, it was awesome! We then later spent our p-day playing FRISBEE! So frisbee doesn't exist in Brazil but thanks to my parents, they sent me a frisbee so we played with the other Elders and I got to teach them how to play!

Apron boys

Checking out Brazilian fashion with my 'greenie', Elder Salmon

Tuesday - Sadly my first son, Elder Da Silva, got transfered to Curitiba. He was having  a hard time on the mission and we believe it will be best for him to work there closer to the temple and in a stronger ward. (Please keep him in your prayers!) I got a new son today who I am pretty sure was chosen by divine design: ELDER SALMON!!!! He just got here in Brazil a week ago and was at the Provo MTC so he is still learning portuguese but he has such a strong desire to serve (and his name is literally the name of a fish which is perfect for a fisher). After he arrived with another Elder, Elder Zamarron (who is from Mexico and worked in Almirante Tamandare after I left), we went to get lunch and while eating, a waitress keep on glancing towards us. Elder Cardoso told me to talk to her and so I did. Her name is Juliana and she wondered who we were. I introduced us as missionaries and we got her number to then share a message with her (Ch. 14 to all the missionaries that know!😆)

                          Sunglasses inside!                                                             Best acai

Wednesday - MISSION DEVOCIONAL! We talked about families and the Law of Chastity. One of my biggest take aways was the idea of the man of the house "presiding" over the family. This doesn't mean they are to command the family but rather follow Christs example to fulfill the Lord's purpose with gentleness and pure love and putting more value on others. Another cool moment today, we met with my friend Frederico who I found after talking to his mother-in-law on a bus ride. When we visited them this week, I was surprised when his mother in law asked me: "Who is Nephi?"! LITERALLY FREAKED OUT.... then explained😅. She read the Book of Mormon we left with them and made us some scone like food with peach tea. It was really good! We ended up teaching them about the church, baptism, and invited them to church and... THEY WENT TO CHURCH!! WHOOO!

 Boys in the rua!

Thursday - Today I realized how every American missionary tends to be the same when they first start out. Elder Salmon has started to do the same things I did with asking me a lot of questions in portuguese, trying to speak portuguese with me in the road, and starting to journal in portuguese. It really feels like he is my own son. (PROUD DAD MOMENT) Funny moment today was when we found this man named Marcelo who from the first minute let us into his house. We then asked if we could share a message with him and I began our lesson. I first started to ask Marcelo some questions to get to know him but the problem was.... HE COULD'NT HEAR! I kept on repeating myself and raising my voice hoping he would understand but I don't think he did😅 I have faith though that the Spirit will speak to him though

Daily studying

Friday - I will admit that today, I had a fubeca moment. While we were cooking at the house during lunch, we were talking about music and I thought about some country songs that Elder Salmon might know. While we were trying to figure out the name of songs, Elder Cardoso began to play country music and played "every little thing about her love", "Fake ID", and "Meant to be". Lets just say... I danced a little... and then repented... later in the day🤣 But ngl, I miss those songs, everyone should give them a listen for me! Fun quote that Elder Salmon said after this experience is that "You have to sin to experience the Atonement of Christ". So you could say, I was just making sure the Atonement is working in my life! [Mom note: We love to dance, just not as a missionary] Another cool moment is when we met this older man who first asked us: "do you play guitar?" and I told him I played a little and he brought his guitar out! I got to play this very old guitar that clearly was deeply loved and this man ended up playing some music for us. In turn, I gave him a book of mormon and we made plans to pass by again to talk more about the book of mormon and get a guitar lesson from him! I love Brazil

Old guitar

Saturday - I had a flashback to my house today when we talked with our friend Alexsander outside his house today in this forest area. My house is very similar to this forest and it was cool to feel at home again. Alexsander is trying to find the right path just like Joseph Smith and we are trying to help him so please, pray for him! Another cool realization I made today is that Dora the Explorer here in Brazil speaks portuguese and teaches english! (Thanks Elder Cardoso for this vital information🤣)

Early morning with Elder cardoso
Beef tongue
Sunday - Started off the morning with the van and one of the first houses we visited had a lot of dogs that started to jump on me and got my pants all dirty (thanks dogs!😅) What was cool today was that we had fast and testimony meeting so I went to bore my testimony about the Book of Mormon which we are studying this year for "Come Follow Me". I truly know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ that contains the fullness of the Gospel. The Book of Mormon provides us with answers for anything and brings us peace in this world by learning of christs life and the perfect plan our Heavenly Father has for us. I know that Joseph Smith translated this book and that it is the keystone of Christ's church that has been restored. Not only did I share my testimony, but my son did! Elder Salmon went and bore his testimony even though he doesn't know portuguese. Honestly I think to myself that I am learning more from him than he is from me. I also found out that I have 2 different names: Elder Salmon and the son of President Bikman (bc I look like him, also see the picture below to understand the first part). The other cool part from today is when we made a contact with someone outside their house, and while we did the contact, a ladybug fell on me. I then turned to Elder Zamarron afterwards and said, "A ladybug fell on me. He will be baptized". Elder Zamarron and Elder Cardoso ended up visiting that man later that day and invited him to be baptized and you know what... he accepted. Truly the Lord works in mysterious ways but he is always showing his hand in our lives and his work.

Só apparently im Elder Salmon

Truly this week has been one of miracles and blessings. Everyday we have on earth is a gift from God and that is why it is called the "Present". For this reason, we need to start each day with a heartfelt prayer to God for the day we have.

Is his new comp asleep while studying?

I love you all and I hope you all know that I am praying for you and that your Heavenly Father has always been with you. "The worth of souls is great in the sight of God".
