Fomos a dormir as 2h da manhã e acordamos às 5h da manhã... sim estamos cansado😅[Call guys!!! How are you today? Hot, right? We are relaxing in the chapel today, waiting for the new missionaries to arrive. We went to sleep at 2am and woke up at 5am... yes we are tired]

Today is officially the transfer and guess what!? I was already transferred on Wednesday to Ponta Grossa! Here's the overview:

Sonhos with the boys

Monday - One last Churrasco in Cachoeira! I recieved a call from President that I would be emergency transferred on Wednesday to Ponta Grossa and stay with the Zone Leaders, Elders Cristakis e Amaral, in Paraíso (paradise). I also found out that I would sing in a quartet on Sunday in front of 😅

Early morning suits

Tuesday - Today was majority packing up my bags and saying goodbye to people.🥲

Leandro e fam

Wednesday - Traveled to Ponta Grossa today and... missed my bus😬. It's all good cause I got a later trip but my trip took WAY LONG. I then met up with Elder Amaral and Cristakis and went right to work. We went to a FBC reference and invited Sandra to be baptized. She kept on asking a lot of questions but eventually we helped her focus on Christ and our first covenant with him, baptism. Afterwards, we went to acompany some baptism dates by.... PLAYING SOCCER! And guess what? I WON! And then needed to pay for a cocacola for everyone😅

Soccer with the gang
Thursday - We had to go acompany some dates from other areas today and guess who came with us? The one and only, CHRIS!! I LOVE CHRIS. It has been over a year since I saw him but he came along with us. We went to help an Oswaldo feel more prepared to be baptized this Sunday and we did this, by doing a baptism interview. I love how the baptism interview isnt supposed to be a word for word talk but a conversation. Oswaldo shared his powerful testimony of the BOM and I knew he was ready.

CRIS and the boys

Friday - In grown toenail, part 3! Yep, i got another one. This time though, it was bigger than the others and... I may have passed out 😁

Then heading back home, we ended the day with a ward game night!

Early morning service
Saturday - We woke up early today to not only clean the church but to do a service project for a recent convert. They were moving and asked us to help. The funny part was when we found a black spider and the recent converts husband and threw it at us. Elder Cristakas and Amaral ran like crazy and I just stood still and laughed. Later we went to visit Oswald again who was having doubts about being baptized. We reassured him of everything but he decide he still wasnt ready.... until..

The field is white already to harvest
Sunday - We get to church (after getting a cake Elder Cristaiks bought out of no where yesterday for someone who would be baptized today) and practice for our quartet. I then discoverd that Oswald was able to make it to stake conference. After the conference, and singing in the quartet, we went to prepare everything for the baptism of our friends: Ana from our area and 2 other people from another ward. Oswald also came after I invited him and we asked him if he wanted to be baptized. He asked, by going and praying to God. I did the same thing by shutting myself in a room and praying to God. When I left, he was already putting on the white clothes! It was a special baptismal service. Afterwards, the ward forgot to sign for lunch so we got whatever food our district had and made Strogonoff.

The 3 ZL's

Overall, for being the start of being a zone leader in a new area, it was an awesome week. I know that I will get tired and fail at times, but God says: "27 Let no man be afraid to lay down his life for my sake; for whoso layeth down his life for my sake shall find it again. 28 And whoso is not willing to lay down his life for my sake is not my disciple." (D&C 103:27-28)
